Stars that is odd that they're asking for proof of POA

NJ22 hope your DS can adjust to using the CPAP

Dianah for this week I'm just using the lentil soup I had previously frozen, for new week I'll make shakshuka

Tweety glad you like the new doc

Ado hope the patches prove less irritating with time

Work was definitely better than yesterday,  although still busier than usual.  Thinking today should be a bit quieter still, I hope

Didn't do much the rest of the day apart from exercise

Today have grocery shopping after work, will do the laundry too if I have time, or might exercise instead,  we'll see

Already thinking about the trips for next year and how I'll arrange them.  Might be a bit premature, but I do like to plan

Will be warmer today, in the low 80s

Good morning!

Joe, I like to plan too. I sometimes book vacations a year in advance.

Ado, sounds frustrating.

Woke up sometime around 4:30 and was able to get to sleep for another hour but only about six hours so I'm tired.  My blood pressure machine stopped working so I'll get a new one today.  Otherwise a routine day of meal prep and cleaning.  Will go to the gym later.

I've been a busy little bee today! Got up at 10 AM and was out the door by 10:30 AM, Went to the post office, then took the long drive out to the KIA dealership.

They took that front (driver's side) tire off and checked it repeatedly for any place air was escaping, but they couldn't find anything. So they filled the tire and put it back on; told me if it happens again, it may be the sensor, and just bring it back. But if it is 'just' the sensor WHY does that tire lose air? ?

Stopped at Earth Fare (HFS --once upon a time named "Dinner for the Earth", but we always referred to it as "Dinner for the Rich") Got some calming drops for when I get Mojo delivered. They didn't have the Rescue Remedy I used to buy for Ozzie, but this stuff is similar, only it is a spray! You spray it in their mouth or even "on their head" according to the directions.

I also stopped for gas, and then paper towels and HVAC filters, as it has been almost 3 months since we had the unit serviced and filters changed. I believe they said the filters should be changed q/mo.

Got Nannie up and fed pills and yogurt. The baseball game today was at maybe 1 PM; we missed the first five innings. but the Phillies are ahead 4-2. We won by a nice margin last night.

Hubby has gone back to bed.../ or never got up? I suppose I ought to go wake him up or he won't sleep at all tonight.

All for now............

Hi. I just had lunch (left over tacos) after doing my 3 hour stint at the demo gardens. They offered me a free rose bush, which I took, but now I don't know where to put it! I may over-Winter it in a pot. We also moved another rose, but then the garden manager said it was in the wrong spot, but the area lead told her its going to stay where we put it until Spring. And then we hope she will forget about it. I played trivia last night, and came in tied for 7th place, out of 20 teams. I did quite well the '60s music category. I didn't get much fencing done yesterday, because it rained pretty hard. I'm about to get going on that now.

Annie, my dd had to wear one of those patches (Zio patch, I think) and she broke out terribly. She has a lot of allergies. And then all it showed was she has tachycardia and she takes PRN metoprolol.

Stars, you have been busy! Our last SUV had those tire sensors and the repair shop wanted $300 to replace each on! So we just left it, and checked the pressure occasionally.

Tweety, sounds like your visit was fairly uneventful. I find those MyChart things to be rather inaccurate. I think there are a lot of pre-canned messages that don't get deleted. I read a physical exam note done on my once that was not even close to being done the way described. But I am likely the only one who even read it.

Dianah, that does sound like nice weather at Disneyland. The last time we were there it seemed very crowded, and it seems like 1/4 of the attractions are shut down at a time. That probably seems insignificant to regulars, but it's a pain if one makes a special trip to get there. rant done.

Joe, we've been thinking about trips for next year. I would really like to go to Europe, before we're too old to travel. I would like to see Italy, but dh does not because he says it's too hot. I told him he can go to the Arctic Circle and I will go to Italy, LOL. Even Alaska gets hot.

Hello all!

We finished all the Poirot episodes on Amazon, and looked for another series to watch.  Found Agatha Christie's Little Murders series (3 seasons).  So we bought the first season.  It's set in the '30's, dealing with a Superintendent and his Inspector.  AND, it's in FRENCH (which they failed to let us know before we purchased it)!  So we are watching the first episode, reading the subtitles, LOL!  It's interesting so far, watching this "take" on Agatha Christie books.  I downloaded the Poirot series to my Kindle, want to read at least the two most famous: Murder on the Orient Express, and Death on the Nile.  We also watched a three-episode NPR production of The ABC Murders, starring John Malkovitch.  It was kinda dark, not one of our favorite Christie interpretations.

nursej22, it IS frustrating to make all the arrangements and pay all the money to go to Disneyland, then find some of the rides closed!  Re: travel: Dh recently said he would like to go see Greece.  I don't know how he would tolerate the travel.  If I could arrange a trip for us to Greece, I would!  I have heard good things about Italy, too.

No Stars, sounds like you got a lot done today!

I just returned from a quick trip to the UPS store, to mail dh's computer to get its battery changed (warranty work).  Dh recently noticed the battery for both our computers (purchased at the same time) is swollen, making the key pad rise up.  Best to get it changed, so he has been backing up the computers, then testing restoration, and creating a dummy password, and ... and ... and ...  All I can say is, it's nice to have a System Administrator in the house, to take care of all those things!  I honestly don't know how "normal" people (like me) do things like he has done!

Not much else planned.  Have a good evening!
