Work was good yesterday, no new cases, no meetings, nothing unexpected.  Had some time to help out at the end of the day

After work did all of the grocery shopping and exercised

Today should be a pretty ordinary day at work.  Nothing going on after work except for exercise.

Will be cooler today, in the upper 70s, although the next few days will be back in the 80s

Good morning.

Joe, hope yesterday's good day repeats itself.

Rans a few errands.  Went to Whole Foods which I'm not fond of doing but some of the Prime deals and products are a bit cheaper than the mainstream store I like.  Also stopped by the regular store.  I got a free bouquet of flowers since it was the anniversary of me having the app.

Am I the only one who eat dandelion greens.  I must not be since both WF and the mainstream floor having them.  I eat them sautéed in olive oil and some salt or Maggi seasoning.  Like the bitter taste and they are healthy.

Hope everyone has a good day.

The only thing I liked about dandelion greens was feeding the baby greens to a couple of baby geese a private duty patient had in his back yard. 😀 We let them out and we would sit in lawn chairs and offer them the dandelion greens, and later they would untie our shoes by "beaking" the shoe-laces out of the grommets. Very funny to watch, as they were both diligent and successful; but you had to stop the activity before the lace approached the last grommets, else you lose your laces entirely!

I have done nothing so far today; I am lounging in bed. I do have to stop at a grocery store for MORE drinks, which we are constantly running out of, but at least that must mean we are fairly well hydrated.

Now I have to put on acceptable-in-public clothing and in two-plus hours pick up that Nannie-person from the daycare. Yesterday, ALL DAY, Nannie spent trying to pull her ankle socks up and her pantleg hems down, as her shins kept exposing themselves. I sent a text to SiL to PLEASE purchase Nannie some KNEE SOCKS, and save my sanity!

So the dog and I have been having a quiet day. Tomorrow is when the CG comes for 6 hours in the afternoon, and then Friday Nannie goes back to daycare. And then comes the dreaded weekend when there is no surcease from being stuck here with her all day and evening. *sigh*

Same old same old.

Home again and glad for it.

Hubs helped our pastor's husband get a kitten out from the inner workings of their car today and decided to bring it home. So we have a new tiny kitten. Binx is not pleased. Sam is less vocal about it but is not a big fan, either.

Tiny kitten is currently on my lap in the bed. I tried putting it in our bathroom where there is water and a litter box. It cried.

Hello all!

Welcome "home" Ado.  How cute, a "new" kitten!  Youngest's newest kitten is a terror but such a sweetie too.  The older cats will adapt, in their own way.

I don't think I've ever had dandelion greens.  I want to go to the nearest Whole Foods to check out their low-carb breads.  Our local store has some but they are not very tasty, IMO.  I want to see if other available brands taste better, without ordering through Amazon.

We had a good band practice yesterday afternoon, and then fiddler and dh and I stopped for Pho (soup) on the way home.  Yummy!  We had leftovers for lunch.

I have a routine appointment with my provider -- yearly thing, nothing new going on (that I know of).  Not much else is planned for the week.  I am a little concerned about our dryer, it seems to be taking longer to dry clothes.  Must be lint build-up (though I clean the lint trap faithfully between loads).  May have to get someone out to look at it/fix it.

Most of you East-coasters are in bed, asleep by now -- have a good sleep, see you in the morning!
