Dianah I'm glad the blues festival went well even if the traffic was bad

NJ22 hope they can find a solution for your knees

Stars glad you had some time to yourself and got things done

Tweety that's one long drive

Was a better day at work despite a meeting.  Hoping today will be better still as there are no meetings scheduled

Did laundry during lunch so I had more time after work before I had to go to book club.  Smaller group than usual but we had 2 new members, which was nice.  Hope they'll return.  Had dessert last night too, which is unusual for me

Today have grocery shopping after church but otherwise it should be a quiet day

Bit warmer today, in the upper 60s, rain seems to have stopped

I turned the light out at 1:20 AM, and actually DID sleep WELL! Woke up at 10 AM and turned the alarm clock off for another hours sleep. Didn't even cuss when I got up! Now I am down in the den; Nannie is still snoring. Momo and I are enjoying the 'peace and quiet.' 😊

Not sure what I might do today besides the laundry and dishes. As usual, it never ends!

Ugh. Laundry. In our house someone is always getting upset because they have laundry to do but someone else has the washer and dryer full.

dianah, that sounds like a fabulous time. Glad you got to enjoy it.

Tweety, I hope your visit is going well.

Tonight should be the last choir practice of the season. Our numbers have dwindled and I'm afraid it's partly due to some people being petty and having a problem with our new director. He's young, perhaps a tad neuro-diverse, but very talented. Kind of reminds me of my kids, especially Twin B. But that makes sense -- my kids have often been treated unfairly because they're a little different. Then I worry that they're a little different because I was a poor parent. Or not very neuro-typical myself. Augh!

Hubs wants to go to some car race thingy Saturday and wants me to go with him. Not really my thing, but I guess I will. I hope the weather is as pleasant as it has been the last couple of days. There's an outdoor concert by the OKC Philharmonic on Sunday evening, much more my thing. Maybe I could talk Twin A into doing that with me while Hubs stays home with Gma. I don't know if Hubs plans to have a Gma sitter on Saturday; I would assume so.

Next month for our anniversary Hubs is planning to do a few days of respite care for Gma at the nursing home (unless the sitter would rather care for her at our house). The Price Tower in Bartlesville, OK is the only "skyscraper" designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It's open now as a hotel and arts center with tours of the "historic" top 3 floors that have been restored to their 1956 original. Something like that. So we plan to stay a couple of nights and check out other things in the area -- there's another art museum and wildlife preserve (Woolaroc). And a museum of the history of Phillips 66.

The Indiana Pacers are 2-3 in the (quarterfinal?) series against the Knicks. Hubs has been watching avidly.

I went to bed early last night, around 8. I was just exhausted for some reason. Which meant I woke up at 4. That was good, because I needed to wash my gardening clothes before going to the demo garden. I came home, had lunch and did a little home gardening. The dogs got into a box of dh's organic fertilizer and ate some and spilled some on the grass. Then I watched a webinar about dilated cardiomyopathy and dozed off. My labs came back boringly normal, my knee X-rays show mild osteoarthritis . Im going to see a sports doc next week to see if they can make a difference in the pain. I doubt it, but its worth a try.

The Price Tower sounds interesting. We visited Taliesin West in Phoenix. It was FL Wright's last home and studio. Very interesting. The interior decor was not something I would choose, but impressive. I would recommend for anyone traveling to that area.

Dessert sounds good, but I am pressing on with my weight loss. My non fasting glucose was 100 yesterday, which isn't bad for being told I was pre diabetic 2 years ago.

Somebody really needs to get groceries. dh likes to order on his phone, pick it up, and then go in and buy more. I don't as why anymore, that's just the way he likes it. I hate shopping on his phone, but I hate going in even more. I made a weird macaroni salad yesterday, following a recipe that dh found on line, and it was meh.

Good evening.   All is well here.  My sister is down because her recent birthday and Mother's Day was ignored by her daughter.  I played Jeopardy with my sister and won twice.  Lucky guesses.  The online version is multiple choice.  The third player was an AI won who did rather well.  😆
