Good morning!
Joe, hope you have a good day.
Text messaging on regular phones is actually a HIPPA violation for some reason. Doesn't make much sense since talking on the phone isn't. We have a way to instant message doctors on Epic that is considered "secure" but if they are able to read it and respond then they can put their own orders in because it means they have access to Epic at that time.
I got up way too early and went back to bed for a short nap. Dusted a bit and am going to do some meal prep for the week and go to the gym. An ordinary day.
Was nice to get in some beach time yesterday.
Good morning! Joe and Tweety (and everyone else), hope your day goes well!
We are up early (for us: 7am) to finish getting ready for our trip. Dh will soon feed the cats and then we will do a whirlwind packing, toss the duffels in the rig, and begin our journey up to Central Calif for the festival! We will be in some of the most earthquake-prone country in the state, incidentally. I will have no phone service, but dh will, so we will use his phone. I may not have site access (oh the pain!) while we are gone. If I do finagle a way to post, I will!
Have a good day!
Good Morning. I'm feeling a discombobulated today. Our online staff meeting was set up as an intro to a new division within our health department, which was good. But we were sent into breakout rooms (mini online meetings) with a vague agenda, for 5 minutes, and then were switch rooms. So by the time we figured out what we were supposed to do, it was time to switch. Anyway, it was very confusing, and I hate those when you are put on the spot to talk with an unclear idea about what to talk about. This is when it is handy to have OCD coworker present, because she can talk continually for the whole 5 minutes.
Then, we have a new photo copier, which is good, but I can't get it to connect to my computer. Sigh. I need to print out financial aid forms for a new client. At least this is my "Friday" and will off until next Wednesday. It is raining and all the pretty pink flowering cherry petals are turning the ground pink. And it makes for some slick sidewalks. Sis is feeling better, but I am going to text her and urge her to contact her PCP. She won't see cardiology for 6 more weeks.
88 and humid sounds just icky, especially with a sudden change. Nannie must be like dealing with a child just realizing weather changes. I love rainbows!
Dianah, I am hoping for good weather for you and no earthquakes! I read an article lately where Texas is surpassing California for the number of earthquakes, but not as severe. ?related to oil drilling? We have occasional little ones, but I have felt any in a long time.
Gee, that is cool, Ado, that your hubby plays bluegrass. Maybe he can jam remotely with Dianah and hubby. Does gma like music, maybe a way to soothe her?
I am also working on a presentation for some nursing students about public health. Yawn. Another public health nurse offered me her slides, and I may use a few.
Back to work.
All day today I thought it was tomorrow (!) and gathered all the trash, then rolled the bin out to the street. Half hour later I found out I should've put it out tomorrow night for Friday pick-up. Left the bin where it was. Hubby says I'll confuse the neighbors; no, they'll just know I've been around Nannie too long. (WAAAAAY too long.)
Wrens are building nests in the gutters; you'd think they'd know there is no overhead protection from the sun or rain, and the first big hard rain, goodbye nests! Lit'relly down the drain!
Braves lost the 2nd game last night. They won this afternoon's game 9-2.
No baby pigs yet. // In spite of LOUD screeching-beeps of the Severe Storm Warning crawl on the TV, three different times today, we have had no storms, severe or otherwise. // yeah, dianah, stay clear of all earthquakes and fires! Speaking of which, I read on-line that when Garth Brooks had a concert in Louisiana, it was SO loud, with people stomping, clapping, and singing along, that it actually registered as a mild earthquake, no kidding! YIKES!
j22, Hope you get RE-combobulated soon! // Hello... to the rest of you'n's----talk with you later!
