Tweety I've found that libraries often have free and discounted passes to museums and other attractions

Ado that is a long way to go for book club

Nighttech I hope you sleep better

NJ22 I hope they get the repairs done in time

Stars glad she wasn't injured

Work was not as busy as yesterday, but still busier than expected.  Still hoping for another quiet day sometime soon

After work did the grocery shopping and stopped by the library and exercised.

Today have an event with the political group tonight. They had something last night too but I'm not going to do 2 events in a row

Going to be cooler today, only in the lower 80s, with rain and storms expected

I've got 15 minutes to stretch out my lower back and take my meds and gulp some coffee....I have to get Nannie ready for BiL to take her to daycare. Then I have to drive out to the dealership, because I am Our Lady of the Low-Tire Light, if you can believe that! Me, of the brand new tires! I suppose it is the stem that is giving the problem, because I didn't run over any nail. I'm not entirely sure but I think it is a kind of expensive thing involving, perhaps, a sensor of some kind. But it has to be done. Maybe they can put air in the tire and I can make an appt to have it fixed or replaced or whatever it is they do for that kind of thing, next week. As long as I can get Nannie to her grand-dgt's wedding on Saturday.....

No further time to post. I hope this is not a rugged day....because I have to get through it on maybe 4 hours sleep.. It is also going to get to 98 degrees with 98% humidity. How lovely. Ugh.

I'll be back later, I'm sure. I gotta get up now, and I mean NOW!

....Aaaand, she's BACK! Just got back from picking up Nannie from daycare.

Good deal out at the dealership: Because I bought my tires from them, the tires have a 2 year warranty, AND they found a big chunk of wood (like from a torn up tree limb) going into the tire. Not patchable  😊 so I got me a brand new tire for nuthin'! All I had to pay was $35 for the labor. Too bad I'm too old to start an auto-mechanics job, those bucks per hour sound pretty good to me, but , I don't want to work, so that's that!

I remembered to go get Nannie at daycare at 5 PM. I am making SiL recite her schedule to me regarding how it affects MY schedule, and I have it written down on a pad of paper on the coffee table. I will make her tell me every week, because it DOES change around a good bit, depending on whether she starts the day or ends the day at her ABC store gig. She only thinks she is working part-time, because whenever they call her, she says 'yes' instead of 'no'. I tried to make her practice saying "NO, I'm not available that day", and to NOT add a reason WHY she wasn't available...... but she couldn't even pretend to say it, even though there was nobody in the room but me! I guarantee she will be burning out one of these months. {*I* don't have a chance to say "NO!" and I kind of wish I did. Basically I am stuck as an indentured servant, more or less.}

Have not heard from Chatty CG about tomorrow, but generally she waits until the last minute to call if she isn't coming, so here's hoping she does show up tomorrow, because if she doesn't come to work in the afternoon, even at her usual 15-20 minutes late.....SiL told me that she guessed she better start looking for someone else.

WTH am I going to make for Nannie's supper? I don't know, and she sure doesn't know, in fact she is not even sure if she is at all hungry. Sounds like a good night for cereal and fruit (if I have enough milk, that is).

I am bored with myself, and I really, REALLY, REALLY miss Momo sumpthin' wicked. 😢

I am already counting down to the Nannie-person's bedtime; it will be in 3 and 1/2 hours! YAY! I hope to the beejeebers she doesn't 'fall' out of bed again tonight. She has no damages or aches/pains from last night.....in fact, of course, she doesn't even remember anything at all, anyway. Perpetually an innocent, I guess. FAH! BZZT! OY!

What a crazy day.  Started with a rapid response for hypotension and off to ICU she went.  Ended with a code blue that bleed everywhere from bleeding varicose but she made it.  In the meaning did 16 discharges and 14 admissions.

Whew.

Wow. What a day, Tweety!

We had our hospital and nursing leadership meetings today. They were fairly productive  for meetings, but took a lot of time. I'm tired and feel like I could go to sleep right now.

I am tired too. 3 hours of volunteer gardening, 1 hr of weed class, then drive dh around to pick up CPAP parts, my meds, stop at Costco, stop at Target, and mopped floor of travel trailer, made pork chops and rice for dinner. I still need to put clean sheets on the bed.

No rapid responses called, no blood involved. Gad, I don't miss that stuff.
