Was a pretty good day at work again, despite getting a new case.  If nothing unusual happens this will have been a good week

After work had to stop at the pet store and the pharmacy.  Then went out to eat with the people from church.  We ate outside, though it was a bit warm and humid for that I thought.  

Today heading out after work to meet some people from the over 50 group for dinner.  It's some distance away so hoping the traffic will not be bad

Will be another pretty warm day in the low 90s, will most likely storm in the afternoon

Huh! Didn't realize it was Wednesday and the day SiL is getting Nannie for the afternoon, so that's a nice surprise. She said she is going to dismantle the metal shelves in Nannie's room, and clean out FiL's old dresser to bring it down to use in Nannie's room. It's a big ol' tall dresser and heavy, but she said she and BiL are going to do it. Fine by me!

Meanwhile, she is through giving Nannie a shower, so I can get to take my (much needed) shower now.

Yup, yup, yup, Nannie has gone with SiL, and BiL has hauled off the trailer to the dump. I am clean and dry and dressed. Once my hair is a little more dried off, I have to trim my bangs; if you cut them while they are wet, they "shrink" to a shorter length and I don't like them THAT short!

Don't know when SiL and BiL are going to come back and empty the shelving unit and then empty and move the tall dresser downstairs to Nannie's room. Whatever, it'll happen whenever.

Other than that, I know there's things I want to do and things I should finish  doing..... but Momo and I are lounging on our bed in the meantime. We're pretty good at that! It is, after all, my "time off", so I will go with the flow, or lack of flow....

One more time......!

The in-laws have arrived and are doing their thing with the metal storage shelves and Nannie's large Rubbermaid boxes...SiL is eliminating all the things Nannie has socked away and forgotten about. Nannie is napping in her recliner and doesn't see all the things being taken out of her room. BiL is upstairs sorting through the stuff in the large dresser.

I told them that since it is my afternoon off, I may do nothing at all! On the other hand I may go up to my old room and clear some of that junk out.....Whooooo knows?!

Hello all!

No Stars, good you got some down time today.  How does the revised room look now?

Joe, I hope your dinner out was enjoyable, and the drive wasn't too bad.

No Stars, I think your gypsies have migrated to the West Coast!  I had some back pain/spasms the last couple days.  Did some exercising, and rubbed on some magic cream.  THEN, I woke up today and the back was fine, but my NECK has a crick in it -- ooooo, it hurts to turn to the left!  Gypsies, I tell you!!  I have done some gentle exercises and stretching and muscle massage.  I know it will be better tomorrow (these things usually last 2-3 days, max).  I am watching the Olympics and doing some reading, and got some clothes folded, and a load of wash in the dryer.  SO exciting!!  I would not have earned any medals for today's performance, I can tell you!  LOL!

I was watching Ledecky swim the 1500 meter race, which is about a mile . She did in about the same time it takes me to jog a mile. 
I went to big sis's medical oncology appt. to hear about the plan for chemo. She will start on the 12th. She will need to get a PICC and eventually a port for the immune therapy that follows the chemo. Odds are in her favor for remission. She is still in denial that she should quit smoking. 
I stopped to pick up camp chairs I leant to dd, then at eldest ds's place to get a stand for my bike. Right now I'm taking a break from packing. I kinda want to have a big cry. We will leave for Newport OR in the am. Will be taking 2 days to get there as this will the first time traveling with the dogs.
