Hi Tweety

NJ22 that's great that retirement is coming up so soon

Stars that's good that the doc recognizes that he's not experienced with rehab

Hi Dianah

Ado hope you feel better.  Glad she didn't get too far

Very quiet morning at work.  Afternoon got busier got more calls than expected, but many calls were ones I was planning to make today anyway.  That should make today less busy

Uneasy about hearing how we need to improve performance in the next few months.  I've exceeded standards but the team as a whole is falling somewhat short.  This can lead to a non-renewal of the contract, though if that did happen it would be much later in the year.  Decided to start doing stuff like updating the resume and coming up with a job search plan,  just in case

Found out that J's procedure was another prostate biopsy,  not sure why this one was more involved than before

After work today have grocery shopping,  then meet with the political group to do our presentation.  Thankful that we'll finally be done with that.  Might try to fit in a quick trip to the library

Going to reach nearly 50 again today, unusually warm for this time of year

Good morning.

I hope that J's biopsy turns out okay.

Ado, when I notified the provider of my mistake of giving it two hours earlier he say "okay, thanks for letting me know".   He didn't seemed bothered.

Stars, hope you have an good day today.

Ado, hope you're recovered from the vaccine.  Glad that gma was okay.

J22, 19 shifts!!  woo hoo

Dianah, that's too bad about the rate increase.  My electric bill went up $60 a month and I'm thinking of ways to cut back.  Meaning warmer in the Summer and colder in the Winter.  I just like being comfortable.  I don't ever want to have to wear sweaters or long pants inside.

It's cool in the low 50's this morning and may make it to the 60's so it's "Florida" cold.

Saw the movie "Babylon" in the theaters with best friend and it was great.  Three hours and 20 plus is too long for a movie, but it was very well done.

I've got plenty of meal prep, laundry and housework to do.  Then heading to the grocery stroe and gym.  It's not a rest day, so I need to get off the internet.  LOL

Have a great day.

Waiting for a Zoom webinar to start. Feeling lots better today. It is my sister's birthday and I didn't send a card. I'm very bad about that. I think about it 2 weeks  before the date and not again until the day before, it seems.

Joe, Hubs saw the urologist yesterday. He started a new med a few weeks ago for urination problems. I'm not sure what prompts a biopsy other than an elevated PSA (and I guess Hubs' PSA is normal) but my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 70 even with a normal PSA. His urologist "thought he felt something" and biopsied it. So I'm always a little uneasy. Hubs has good results so far from the new med, though, so I must assume all is well.

Ah, here's my webinar...

That's dh!  He keeps the temperature around 74-75, as he is very sensitive to anything he perceives as "cooler."   He keeps the Summer temp around same, so we save on A/C there.  But winters, our bill is higher.

It's the opposite here.  Winters are considerably lower but I like to keep it at 74 and sometimes warm it up to 76.  In the Summer as I get used to the heat I'm fine with having the air set at 80.  I'm trying to adjust to it being cooler and not heat it up to 76..  I have my bills averaged out so I can pay the same thing every month instead of horribly high bills in the Summer.

Hi~

So I don't think hubby is doing so well on his at-home detox. I think he did get some vodka the other day, and though he has not been drinking as much as previously, I can still tell by the way he talks and moves. And, of course, last night he went upstairs before I did and I was sitting here watching HEAVEN CAN WAIT (Warren Beatty's version; I've seen all the versions of it [4 or 5] that they've remade over the years, and I like all of them.)

Anyway, I heard a crash and boom from upstairs, so upstairs I went, saying "Where are you?" He was in my room and said he fell because he got dizzy. I didn't say a word, I just let him tell me a few times "how it happened" and kept a neutral expression on my face. He conked the top of his head on something, I could feel the bump  on the top of his scalp, but no blood. I had to help him get up and he nearly fell into the space between the end of the bed, and my desk like he did before. I said, as I was pulling on his arm, "Don't you DARE fall into that hole again!" And of course his answer was, "I'm not going to. I'm fine."

He had pulled a scab off the back of his head, where he got the stitches last time, and has a small crater in the back of his head. He was convinced the doc had left a staple in and was trying to remove it. So, now, today, he is sitting out in the Ford because the wind is too chilly to sit on the porch. Wonder how much he's going to drink today, or what excuse to go out that he will come up with if he has run out of vodka.

I'm doing more laundry and will have to go out to the store because Nannie is almost out of cranapple juice, plus I have used up all the laundry deterg and spot tx and spray....

Tomorrow is hubby's next appt w/ the PCP. Huh. Wonder what will come of this one. I'm sure hubby will say he's been fine and has not had a drink. Ppfftt!
