Was another fairly quiet day at work, had time to do a load of laundry before lunch.  Today should be similar, have a new case but have even less to do on my to do list today than yesterday

After work ran a few errands I was originally going to do today and exercised.  Since I stopped at the pet store I decided to get the cat a bed, which I haven't done in a long time, and thankfully she decided she likes it.  With cats it can be hard to tell what they like. 

Today have grocery shopping after work, then might try and exercise before my last vestry meeting, which thankfully will be on Zoom.  Will be glad to be done with this, it's been a long 3 years and a lot has happened with the church in that time

Will be a bit warmer today, in the mid 40s

Hello there!

Went out to the store mid-afternoon for the things we always run out of first: coffee, dog food, cran-apple juice, some of Nannie's favorite frozen meals, etc,  (I admit it, I am LAZY about cooking!) Also had to restock all the incontinence things, as always, and I always buy the LARGE packages, but Nannie goes through them like nobody's business. Yeh, it's always something. And when I got back Momo gave me 99 kinds of grief for leaving her.....yap,yap, squeak, whine, yap-yap-YAP! 

Nothing much going on today, and I didn't do anything else except the omnipresent dishes.

Hello!

It's been a quiet, laid-back day.  I walked yesterday afternoon with friends, but still didn't sleep well.  Napped this morning.  Dh didn't sleep well, he has developed a cough (not Covid), so he napped this afternoon.  While he was napping I started watching The Polar Express.  Didn't care much for it, turned it off partway through.  I sent out a bunch of Christmas cards yesterday.  Made some of the Tuscan White Bean Soup yesterday too, we will probably have that this evening -- and it has started raining.  Should rain on and off for the next three days.  Now THAT is more like Winter!

Hi. I feel like I've been busy today. 4 batches of cookies (~ 10 dozen), and rode my bike to and from the dentist for a cleaning. They recommend a bite guard, but if they made me a custom one, it would be ~$700. And with my luck, the dogs would get it and chew it to bits. So the hygienist recommended getting one on line, so I ordered that. For the last couple of years the dentist has been concerned about the thin enamel on my front incisors. It's been that way for 40 years, but now it's an issue, I guess. 

Youngest ds and I took some 8 ft fluorescent tubes to the hardware store to dispose, and I found a shelf to fit dh's bbq for a Christmas gift. Tomorrow, I hope to go do a little more shopping. dh is getting groceries tonight. My feet hurt, so I'm staying home with the dogs. Sunny and mild here. No white Christmas in the forecast, alas.

G'day

Hot a good potluck at work.  I was one of those that ate without bringing anything.  No shame.

My Secret Santa got me a pack of four hot sauces, some chocolate and a very nice coffee table book about my favorite group from the 70's the Carpenters.  I once said they were my favorite group.  

I worked the floor.  Only one admission and started 4:1 so it was good.
