Wedding invites for my friends on the unit, do or don't?

I am getting married next summer and I want to invite some of my friends at work, problem is as nurses we obviously can't have a bunch of us try to schedule off the same day. Would it be rude to invite them knowing that some are not going to be able to show up? Thanks for the help!!

either invite everyone from work or invite no one.

as far as the friends from work that you see socially -- you know their home addresses, so send the invite to their home. just don't distribute them at work unless you invite everyone. believe me, it can create hurt feelings if you inadvertantly (or deliberately) leave someone out.
