Hey guys! How are all of you? I just can't seem to get enough of this site!!! I love it!
Ok, here's my post for the night:
What are some really good nursing websites? I want to know about sites from nursing humor to study guides for tests.
Please post ANY and ALL websites you can think of. I am hoping to get a head start on nursing school by trying to get into the "groove" and beginning to understand the terminology.
Some of the websites I've been to and liked were:
1. ALLNURSES!!
Ok, feel free to add yours here. I really hope to have a lot before the summer so I can kind of "jumpstart" nursing school. Thanks again!!

A great page for visual learners...ABGs using the bloodgas map.

Med Surg Nursing Review Questions:
does any one know a good site for a wellness paper on the elderly? Im in my last semester will set for the boards in august put not sure how to go about this paper...
Here's my favorite site I used for my elderly paper. You just type in your subject, and voila! you got it, and it's free. NIA Another site I used was something to do with social services through the government, but darned if I can remember the name of it. Good luck!
Not a website, but someone on this forum posted a pharmacology study guide that they made. they also made a pathophysiology one...both were EXCELLENT. i'm more so interested in the pharm guide (because that is what I'm in now lol) but I can't find it anywhere!!! Can someone direct me to the post??? (the guides were attached to their post)
Here's a couple that i found helpful. I hope im not reposting but, the 20+ pages is a lot to look through hehe
http://modernnurse.ca/ - Tons of resources like careplans, A&P, Critical Care references, student resources, lab interpretation, skills videos, etc. It also posts the latest health news from Canada, USA and internationally.
http://www.orlive.com/index.cfm - watch operating room procedures with pre, intra and post discussion

This is the only one I found. Anytime you want to find something that was posted on allnurses, all you have to do is use the search bar at the top left of any allnurses page. For this I searched: pathophysiology pharmacology study guide.
And one to help buy and sell books between students at your college,
Boycott The Bookstore
It's pretty new, so there aren't many books there yet, but if people start to utilize it, it'll be a great resource to buy and sell your books to and from other students avoiding the bookstore
