Is the website "indeed" for nursing jobs (although you can look for any job there)
helpful ?
has anyone tried it and had good results ?
thanks!

I've never heard of it before, but just doing a couple searches found me quite a few LPN jobs I wasn't aware of in my area (I search for hospital LPN positions fairly often for a way to get my foot in the door, so I'm usually aware of most positions around). It's also not all cluttered with ads and flash and "company confidential" type listings (HELLO, Monster.com :angryfire). I like it

I have used http://www.indeed.com for quite some time. I like it because it compiles listings from the major, and not so major, employment websites. Unfortunately, lately it has had the same stale employers with the same stale listings, but it is still the best website for what it does. They also have forums where you can post and read other posts about different employers. Some juicy tidbits can be found there.

Wow! You are right. I just checked it out and found that it even lists positions on hospital boards, physician networks, etc.
Thanks!
