Another question if ya'll don't mind...how does one go about obtaining and affording personal health insurance required by the program if you don't have a job during school that will supply it?

You get points for one or the other toward your pre-reqs for an associates but if you want the extra points they give if you've completed BSN coursework then yes you have to have the opposite one of what you've already taken completed as well

I applied to wise county last week for the LVN-RN that starts in June. Just wondering if anyone else has. This is the first time for the new point system. Where does everyone stand? My teas score wasn't very good, but I have most of my BSN courses complete. Hoping that helps!

There is a board for Fall 2015 ADN that will be current applicants. When you turned in your application did you get any indication of how many applications they have received or whether or not they are expecting the points to increase or decrease because of the new system? (Mine decreased and I am a little worried)

I applied for the transition program. Basically all I know is there were 70 applicants, that's for wise county and the main campus. I have 22 points right now, she said that would prob get me on the alternate list

I am applying for the ADN program and had intended go up there to turn in my application today but my daughter got a stomach bug yesterday afternoon. It will be at least a week if not two before I can go back out there as neither campus is necessarily close for me. I am also thinking about taking the TEAS again before I turn in my application.

Has anyone taken a science over a summer term? I really want the extra points it would give me if I took either A&P 2 or micro but I would have to do it summer 1 before apps are due in for next application period

Thanks so much. I have one last question, I haven't taken visual/performing arts but I have more than 15hrs towards the BSN track courses, will I still get points?

Yes you will that was just if you were under or trying to complete the 15 hours for the extra points you can have any combination of those classes

Hey Ya'll! Just a reminder that we are having a Health Provider CPR class on JUNE 12, form 1-5 at North Park Baptist Church in Weatherford .

This class is through Airevac and they make it alot of fun... best of all ... It's only 5 bucks!
