Hello...I am going to be applying for the LVN program.....I just learned of the point system.....Can someone please tell me what is the least amount of points someone has been accepted with?
Tmmycarson
I applied to the adn with 31 points and that should be good enough seeing that the point system is different due to the weight of the TEAS. I'm going to do lvn even if im accepted into the ADN because all my rn friends say they appreciate someone who has gone from LVN to RN... they have more hands on knowledge. My friend was a 33 and she got alternate so if you subtract about 3-4 points, that would be the average for those getting into the program.
good luck either way!!!
how many points did you have for lvn??? im thinking 18 since you have all the prereq. for ADN.
AnyceTurner,
I think I have something like 17 or so for lvn . I think I will go ADN if I get selected. If not I will still be applying for BSN for spring at UTA. I have already taken all lower lever nursing classes as well. IDK I just need in a program somewhere, I am out of classes to take.
i'm excited too!!! Chabell!!
Tmmycarson,
sounds great!!! do what you think is best!! either way you'll get in a program it's just which one?
UTA!!! that was my first choice until i realized the cost!! I can't afford it (which is not a legit reason to not attend) but also i have prior commitments where I'm at now and it would be an hour and a half commute for me.
you should be accepted into the ADN and LVN your choice girl!! Let me know if you get accepted.
wow!!!! it dropped that drastically??? yah Chabell that would be killer on gas. I was thinking about moving myself but its only 28 miles from my house. which takes like 20 min. So i may not move. If you get accepted that would be great!!
Yep, it dropped that much! I have doubts about getting in since I only have 7 points. Anyone have any updates from KL?

That's kinda a big drop. I know for spring they didn't have that many applications turned in. So maybe that's why. Good luck to everyone
