Has anyone applied to the LVN Fall 2016 at Weatherford college? If so how many points did you have? I have 10 and am curious how I compare to others. I know it's kind of early, but has anyone received an acceptance letter or know when they're supposed to be sent out? I made a poll if anyone wants to share.

Hmm maybe all campus's are having orientation at the same place. Is you orientation on the main campus too?

Ok I found out it is only at the main campus. So that's clarified. Another question I have is how many papers did you get in your envelope? I got my letter, my certified profile paper, and a pink one for my drug screen. I have already did my background check last semester because I applied to the spring program and got accepted but had to decline due to family emergencies.

Anyway, my question is am I missing a paper for my background check/fingerprinting because I have already done it or do I need to do it again?

According to the letter, it says the attached paper Service Code form but I don't seem to have that form.

And of course this is suppose to be turned in by 5/16 but Karen is out of the office till the 16th and the other secretary doesn't know.

So can you help and tell me how many papers you got?

And we should start a FB page for our group!

I got into LVN program in the spring too and gave up my spot. So I actually got the blue card in the mail ( the thing u get after the background check is done) this past Friday. My envelope has the same as yours.I'm guessing you will get your blue card thing soon. I was told the certified profile will be switched over to this semester as well. So we dont have to make a new account or anything.I'm not sure about the drug test though.

Does anyone know what the clinical hours look like?

From reading previous posts, clinicals vary from 8 to 12 hours depending on site and/or instructor and will be 2 days a week and then maybe 3 when the time comes to start them.

OK, so that's probably something we will figure out later on. I'm really hoping we do 8 hrs because of child care. It might be a bit hard finding someone to watch my kids outside of daycare hours. :-/

I understand completely I have 3. Where will you be driving from? I will be driving from Boyd.

I'm driving from peaster. I'm not far from the school, but the clinicals might be further. I know we might have clinicals in Fort Worth.

I like the FB group page idea :) Please let me know if you set one up. Also I heard they work with students on clinicals because so many don't live close to Weatherford. I live in Arlington but am willing to drive because I really want this degree and career!

I agree with RN goals. A FB group would be nice :-)

Ok ladies, I tried to start a group but I need some names to add to the group.... so if you don't want to put them on here you can email me [email protected], my name is Ashley Houston
