Weatherford College fall 2014 adn applicants

Published

I am applying for WC this Dec/Jan for fall 2014 Rn program. I am going to re-take my teas this month to hopefully improve my score. If I get in I will be driving from Hurst. Hopefully it won't be too bad of a drive.

I need to schedule mine but I am just not ready yet. I at least want to get through the ATI manual once. Good luck!

Yeah. I understand that! I do not feel as ready as I had hoped. I emailed Karen and she will be out of the office from Jan. 24 to Feb. 5, so I may wait to take it around the 5th when she gets back so I can do another evaluation.

I have the ATI manual and have been studying it a lot and doing the practice tests. So stressful!

Thank you and good luck to you also!

Just talked to Karen. I am at 27/44 points before the TEAS scores. Mine will be based on 44 points because one of my English classes is a credit from when I took it as an AP class in high school. She was so helpful and it made me feel a lot better! I didn't know that you can apply to both the Wise County and Weatherford College at the same time and just put which one you prefer. So that's good. Also, for those that haven't taken the TEAS, there is a workshop on campus February 7th. 9:00am for Math and 12:30pm for Science. You have to email the person in charge because there a limited spots. You can PM me for the email address. I plan to go to that and take the TEAS the week after, which still leaves a week to wait and see if I want to retake it.

That's really great! I'm thinking I'll call her after lunch.

I'm taking mine Feb 21st. I have 3 other classes I'm taking and I have to spread out my studying time. I'm going to have ML add up my points to let me know where I stand after.

What time do they be in the office I called and no answer l.

I spoke to KL on thursday. I called close to 10min before the office closed and she picked up! I asked her if I could come by her office and have her review my points for me before I turn everything in and she said she could! That is a relief.

Does anybody know if I can use my financial aid to pay for the TEAS?

Hello alillybug! I don't believe you can use your financial aid for the TEAS. I would check to verify though. They told me they take cash only.

Yes - I spoke to them earlier today and it's cash or card only on the Wise County campus. In scheduled to take it 10am on 02/11!

Eek good luck alillybug!! I'm SO nervous!!! :nailbiting: This won't be my first time to take it. Me and the TEAS do NOT like each other LOL!

Haha - I know exactly what you mean. Good luck to you too!
