Weatherford College fall 2014 adn applicants

I am applying for WC this Dec/Jan for fall 2014 Rn program. I am going to re-take my teas this month to hopefully improve my score. If I get in I will be driving from Hurst. Hopefully it won't be too bad of a drive.

Awesome! I hope you get in! KL originally told me 31 points but I think it might have been more because I have transcripts from 5 colleges (military wife) and she didn't think my math class counted so I am thinking it maybe did? I'm by Saginaw, so hopefully we can carpool. I am sure other spots will open up. It hasn't even been a week since packets were sent out so I'll keep my fingers crossed for all the alternates. I know this is stressful.

Oh I will def keep you posted! This is beyond nerve racking lol!!! I just keep staring at the phone trying to make it magically ring lol!!! We most def could carpool bc gas driving out there is going to be a beast!! Good to know that somebody else lives in this area too, especially when it comes to study time! I did ask some people I work with today and they told me that they have know people that went to WC for the nursing program and it was Monday - Friday 8-5. I would not hold my word on it though until we actually find out for sure, that's just what I was told! Is there a certain phone number that I should be looking for too btw MH0510?

The number was 817-594-5471. Just the normal number for the school. I initially ignored it because I thought it was someone from craigslist lol but then realized it was KL. I was freaking out when I was calling back!

Yeah every time my phone rings I jump, just like I was stalking my mail lady on a daily basis!! Went and got my prints done today too! Just trying to not get over excited since I haven't exactly got that phone call yet! Maybe if we all get in then we could carpool like you said!

I've also been very curious of the schedule and what our hours will be like. A friend of mine is in the TCC nursing program and she said she's there for 2 days (at most sometimes 4 hours) and has clinicals one day. Does anyone know an approximate amount of days we are on campus?

I have a friend as well that is in the nursing program at TCC right now and I've heard the same story from her about two days. Hopefully that is all we will have too! Guess we will find out at orientation.

Expect to be there atleast 4 days a week. I looked on the classes available for next fall and it has the classes on there. It probably will change, but that's what they have for the schedule so far.

Awesome idea alyssa1416! I never thought about that. From what I see when comparing the ADN first semester classes. We will be there Tuesday all day, Wednesday all day, Thursday hospital (I didn't know we did this the first semester), Friday 9-11am.

**Before anyone reads this and thinks this is the schedule it isn't!! I just looked at the classes we need for our first semester and compared to the classes offered in the fall** It's probably going to change :)

I feel silly! I can't find any info on how to set up a fingerprint appointment with L1 Identity solutions, was there a paper on it in our packet? I can't find anything, how do we set that up?

Auto correct taking over? Lol! The white paper with the title "APPLICANT TX Board of Nurses" is the one you need for fingerprints. Just go to the web address listed on it and put the info in (2-11) as it prompts you. Thanks to my battery cable being loose, I had to call and reschedule my appt for next Tuesday.
