Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
Are the adn programs the same for wise and weatherford campuses or are they different?
same curriculum....different instructors.....I'm pretty sure at some point wise county and Weatherford students could be in clinicals together....not sure when that is....I just remember the head of the department telling us that one day when we were talking to her.
I'm pretty sure I'm about to have a nervous breakdown! LoL. How can I not get a letter either way today...ugh! It's gonna be a long night! I'm prepared for either answer, it's not knowing that will drive you mad!Congratulations to all the soon-to-be RN's!!!

KL said since they were mailed Friday, she expects ALL should have their letters by tomorrow.... Praying for you!
I was told by a graduate nurse of WCWC just today that THIS class will not have paper books, they will all be online?!
I can't imagine them discontinuing using the paper books....we have paper copies of all of our books but they are available online too (which is fantastic because there is no way to carry all of those books to class....) BUT so many people prefer paper books I can't see that happening...but I could be wrong...(Unless WCWC doesn't use the books? not sure since there isn't a WCWC class for our semester)

the first time I applied....I applied with 2 unfinished classes....I really just applied just incase I MIGHT possibly get in...BUT I only had 26 points. THis was also before the points changed to weigh more heavily on TEAS scores. I had a a 78 the first time I took it, I retook it and had 84.7%....that application period I applied with 41 points (and was accepted)
anyway it's kinda hard to base it on what kinda score I had then because they've changed up the points a couple of times since then
