I applied on June 30th, as well. I have a GPA of 3.4 in pre-reqs, I did awesome on TEAS, all classes have been taken at WCCCD....I hope that will give me enough points to get accepted!! I've been stressing.....now we have to wait 2-3 months to hear!! Soooo stressful. If anyone hears anything, please post. Thanks and good luck!!!
Hey guys I also applied June 30th, 2011. I am sooo nervous!! I cant believe we have to wait so long lol. I applied with a 4.0, a 78.8 Teas Score Overall (87.5 Reading and 68.8 Math), All of my co-reqs completed and obviously all of my pre-reqs done , I do not have any medical certification , and I have all but 2 of my classes at wcccd.
DOes anyone know how many points you get for having all but 2 of the classes taken at wcccd? I know its like a percentage of classes done and classes taken here. I hope its all enough!! Good Luck everyone!!!
Hi WCCCD Spring Hopefuls,
I applied June 30th too, with a 3.8 gpa, 74 overall TEAS, Reading 85, Math 66, all my classes at wcccd and all co-req's taken. I don't get the 5 points for medical experience though, I'm very nervous about the points, like was the 60 point gpa for 3.83-4.0 or 3.8-4.0. I pray everyone recieves that Happy letter in late Sept/ early Oct:D.
WCCCD uses a point-based system that, if I recall correctly, breaks down as follows: max 60 pts for GPA, max 20 pts for TEAS, 10 pts for all classes taken at WCCCD, max 5 pts for having all co-reqs done, and 5 pts for having some sort of certified, qualifying prior medical experience. I'm not quite sure whether the "all classes at WCCCD" is an all-or-nothing thing - meaning 10 pts if you've taken 100% of classes there, 0 pts if you've taken 99% - but it seems likely to me.
Question: Does anyone else has a registration for the NET prep on their registration history? I was looking under my registation history and I seen NET prep dated for June 21st. IT said special event and it was for the application meeting I attended on June 15th. I was wondering was this their way of showing that they recieved our applications. If any one else has this on their registration please post.

Hello,
I am going to be a first time applicant this June (SO nervous). Ofcourse, I really hope to get in I have been taking 1 or 2 classes here and there since 2007. I am applying with a 3.9 (I had to re-take BIO250 to get that GPA)and I am scheduled to take the TEAS in June. I was just wondering if there are any other future applicants out there.
Let's keep in touch!
