WCCCD Spring 2013 Hopeful!!

Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Good luck to all of you! I still have no idea how I will support myself while I go through the program but I'm doing it. Hopefully this time next year I will be getting ready to start!

I plan to work midnights as much as I can... at least part time. Somehow I will maintain a passing GPA and working. Even if it means a little less sleep and no social life, but I need a source of income. Good luck to you.

Question for any of the students thats been thru the program already... is there any nursing books that will be used for more than one semester? i usually rent my books but like math for meds I'm sure ill need thru out the program, i dont want to rent a book that ill need for long-term. is it ok to rent books or smarter to buy and keep them? thanks for any helpful advice.

I don't know if they are using the same books, but a few years ago the Med-Surg book (Iggy) was used the entire program. Fundamentals (Kozier) you will want to whole program.

I haven't heard anything yet, nor have I been registered for my classes.

I just checked too and I haven't being registered. Did they say we will be registered by the 26th or they will start registering us on the 26th?
