WCCCD Spring 2013 Hopeful!!

Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Last yr on my denial they put the points I had on the back sheet.

I got a denial letter in 2010. It was in a regular white envelope. Yes it was thin because it was just one sheet. My happy letter came in a bigger, yellow envelope, it had a bunch of papers telling you a bunch of stuff. I kindda had a good feeling about it when I saw the envelope. I hope for the very best for everyone who is waiting.

I'm in, I'm in, I'm in! I only have one problem. The orientation in on November 14th. My baby isn't due until November 9th. OMG! I'm praying he comes a little early. I'm taking my card in tomorrow.

I GOT ACCEPTED!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!

I didn't think I was going to get in, so i am actually shocked

The problem is that I am very confused. I started the Radiology Tech program, so far I've been doing good, but I REALLY wanted to be a RN. I decided to start the program because I didn't think Wayne would accept me. What should I do? There are more job prospects as an RN but I don't know, I am starting to like the Rad Tech program

Also my mother read me the acceptance letter (I have yet to read it myself since I am not home right now) and she said it includes that I must pass Medical Math and Measurements with a score of 100% ....what is that about?? I've never heard of this before

kadambari thats hard, I dunno if you could swing both at the same time? and see what you like more, I'm sure thats not possible tho good luck on your decision

Congratulations Kadambari! You don't have to pass the class with 100%. After each nursing semester you have to take a computer test. It does look like you have to pass the test with 100%. I suggest that every keep there Med/Math books to keep yourself familiar with that material. When I took med/Math, my teacher did tell me to keep the book because it was going to come in handy.

I really don't know what to tell you about the Rad Tech program. Do what your heart tells you to do. I'm sure in the end you'll make the decision that makes you happy. Just let us know what you decide.

YEAH I'M IN BABYYYYY!!!! GOD IS SOOOO GOOD. I had less than 80pts I had 73 total I believe. Good luck to every1.
