She is at Henry Ford.
I would recommend St. John's With Hedi Bednarz. She is really good.

There are only polarizing views of the stated instructor. I like her in lecture, and have heard from friends that she is tough, but makes you a better student/nurse in the long run in the clinical setting. Actually, not many complaints at all from anybody in the lecture right now.
She wants students to learn/pass the boards in the long run and is passionate. I will take that passion any day compared to somebody who really does not want to be there.
Just my two cents. I'm sure there are others who have quite the opposite opinion, but very few will be in the gray area.

I had S.T. for M/S 3 clinicals and on the first night of I went home cried so hard on my husband's shoulder and thought that I could not make it. After that I was like, "GAME ON". I did more in her clinical and had more experience in 7.5 weeks with her than any other class so far. I am ready for m/s 4 and beyond. At the end during my evaluation she actually told me that I am going to be a great nurse! That meant so much to me coming from her. I respect her as a nurse and an instructor. It was many days that I didn't like her but she make me think and care for my patients current needs and anticipate and prepare for potential problems. If you want to be challenged, I highly recommend her.
