Now I'm confused about the 30 days thing. The letter says we have 30 days, but in other areas, it states that we need certain things (CPR card, etc) by orientation day. OD is November 25th, which is, obviously, more than 30 days away. When I turn in my green acceptance card tomorrow, I'll make sure to ask. If I have until OD to get things done, I'll be very, very, very happy (mind, I don't procrastinate, I'm just very busy as it is!)!

Congrats to all!!!! I got my letter yesterday I'm in. Just wondering if there was supposed to be a seperate Physical Exam form in our packet?
You should have a form titled "Student Health Profile." It includes a portion to be filled out by you, as well as parts to be filled out by the doctor or HCP who gives you your physical, etc. On the back is where s/he fills out your physical information next to each area to be examined (mouth, nose, skin, etc). There's an area for the titer numbers to go, etc. If you didn't get that, I'd contact the nursing dept ASAP. There's a mention of a "blue form" next to the spot regarding allergies, but I don't have any blue form, so I have to ask about that tomorrow. :\
Thanks ShannonW, my Student Health Profile Form is blank on the back. I'll be sure to talk to the nursing office Mon. when I turn in my green acceptance card.

Ok I am going crazzy cuz I havent gotten any letter yet. When are the green acceptence card do?
The green acceptance cards are due by November 2nd. I'm taking mine in today (had too much to do Friday, heh), and while I'm there, I'll see if anyone can tell me 1) if we have 30 days or until the 11/25 OD, and 2) If all letters have gone out, since quite a few are still waiting on letters either way. When I get back, I'll relay whatever I'm told. I'm guessing it won't be helpful.
I GOT IN :yeah:
IM DOING MY CPR CLASS ON OCT 3 AND MADE APPOINMENT FOR MY SHOTS:cry:

Congrats! I haven't made arrangements for my CPR class, because I was confused about the "30 days thing." When I turned in my green card today, the woman I spoke to gave me a very confusing answer - she said the nursing dept wants things done within 30 days of the orientation. By that logic, any CPR class done before, oh, October 26th would fall outside of those 30 days. Then I asked if she meant 30 from the date of the letter or within 30 days of the OD, and she said "I just told you!" so, uh, I have no idea. I'll call back Wednesday and hope she can give me a better answer. Same re: skipping the titers and getting the boosters: she said "it's in the letter." That... wasn't helpful at all. Again, I plan to ask when I call back. Yarg!
At least my green card's in!
Hey Tammy30, Congrats! Was just wondering where you are taking your CPR class and how much it costs?
Thanks,

thats messed up they wont clarify things.. how unorganized they are I doubt they even look at the dates everything is getting done. I plan to do CPR on october 20th and have a doctors appointment on octber 9th. A friend of mines thats in the program said as long as everything is done by orientation, everything will be fine. She said when she went to orientation there were still some people there who hadn't got all their medical stuff done. They were still allowed to start school and had until clincals to get it done. I wouldnt recommend this but just thought i'd share.. I'm still in shock and cant wait until orientation!
