I got my letter today for spring 2010 and I'M IN!!! YAYYYY!! who else got there's? my cheeks hurt from smiling so hard
I got in for fall and I am so freaked out... Getting ready for the RIDE OF MY LIFE.I am going over med math I heard we have a test in it every 7 weeks is that true?
Yes and no. I have MM now, and we have 5 tests over 8 weeks - well, actually, 1 quiz, 1 final, and 3 tests. Mine is a one-day-a-week class, so with the exception of the first, second, and seventh week (final review), there's a test every week. Don't let it scare you, though: if you have a good calculator (with a square root button!) and can handle doing simple multiplication and long division with decimals without a calculator (my instructor, at least, devotes the entire first page of tests to non-calculator work), you should be just fine. :)

Lulu - there is a med math test at the beginning of each new rotation, so twice each semester (except the first - you don't have to take one before foundations). You'll have three tries to get the score required to continue. Stay up on the math.
I've had a few instructors so far also include math on exams, so always have a calculator in your bag
Hi Everyone!!
I got in for Spring 2010 also! Woohoo!!! I'm so excited!
I turned in my green card (hand delivered it- was not risking the USPS losing it!), and I am still paranoid that it will get lost somewhere. :imbar
I have a dr appt on Monday. I'm opting for boosters; I figure at 32 my titers are probably pretty low (???).
The only thing that kind of sucks (for me) is that I am taking a Med First Responder course (at WCCCD), and was going to use that for my CPR certification. However, they won't give us our cards until Dec. 10th, and we need the cards by orientation. It just kind of makes me mad because at the info meeting, they said we didn't need it until class started, and now I have to go and pay (again) to take the expedited CPR class.
Oh well... I'm so thrilled that I 'am in' that nothing can discourage me.
CoNgRaTs to everyone! Not sure if you guys have had a chance to peruse this site, but it has some AMAZING information on it! I have spend HOURS looking through it and am absolutley addicted to this valuable resource!!!
