How did your first 7.5 weeks go? Who had clinicals for the first time today, or will have it for the first time this week? Ahhhhh, that was me one year ago. This time is flying and I am forming some awesome bonds. I just finished Psych. It was interesting indeed. Our clinical was awesome!!!! I loved it. Actually, we had a really great clinical group:heartbeat and the teacher was cool. At first I had issues with the driving distance to the clinical site (40 miles one way for me) but some other students rotated driving and it worked out great.
Just checking in with you guys. I am in the middle of doing my reading for Med Surg 3.
missgiggles, I know you have a cool teacher for clinicals.....isn't the birthing center nice at your site? Please tell Mrs. JJ hi from me....:anpom:

Hey D! Fancy meeting you here! I'm also breaking from my readings. Hey! Shouldn't you be sleeping??? lol
Yay for us! I agree, our group was the BEST. Here's hoping for another positive, supportive group. It's nice when everyone realizes we are all in this together, isn't it? And it seems to go by even faster! I'm so glad 1/2 the group is coming w/us. I'm going to miss those that aren't. Maybe next rotation...
And congrats to everyone!
Yes... do tell about your 1st day of clinicals! Was it exciting or what? I was scared s***less! Anyone else?

The first 7.5 weeks went very quickly, Med/Surg 2 was tough, Ms. E left before we did the respiratory system, so we had a substitute. But I made it through. Clinicals at Harper was good and my instructor was awesome.
I am taking your word D, that Ms. JJ is good.
Gotta go read, ttyl

Lovely to see fellow students here! Congrats to you both! This will be my first time going into clinicals. I had to complete my dosage calc class before I could move on to Med surg I. Seeming that you two have made it past do you have any suggestions? I am so very nervous!

Mrs. Dunbar is the BEST. I had her for foundations lab and she was our sub for med surg 2 lecture. Relax everything will be fine. She is very supportive and does everything in her power to help you pass. Best of luck to you.
