WBC of 20.7, history of CMML, Cellulitis on lower legs/ankles.

Published

Is 20.7 high for a WBC on a CBC? Is it normal for cellulitis? Usually my monocytes are what is elevated, since I have CMML (currently 16) Can CMML cause cellulitis? I am taking Bactrin currently, and just finished a couse of the same a month ago from a previous cellulitis infection on my lower leg/ankle. Now after a month, it is back, but on both legs/ankles. No bites, scrapes or injuries on legs.

I have never had cellulitis before in my life. I was wondering if perhaps the CMML is acting up again, lowering my immune system. What tests would be helpful to find out.
