Hi.
I was once young and dumb and got a tattoo on my hand and have to have it covered for school but I'm not sure how to go about it due to constantly having a wash hands and apply sanitizer. That right there just throws out foundation. I thought about a bandaid but wouldn't that just harbor bacteria. I'm so stressed.

Welcome to allnurses, Ashley! I personally don’t have any experience with tattoos that needed covering, but if you search you may find some posts that help. This is a quick search I just did and I see at least 2 promising topics on the first page of results that may have helpful tips.

How flexible will the school be with you? Because there's nothing wrong with wearing gloves every time you work with a patient. I do it just to hand them their food tray. The tattoo would pretty much just be in the hallway. If a water resistant bandaid can cover it, then it's covered and just put on gloves when you go in the patient's room.
