Just wanted to start a thread where students (previous, current, and future) from the nursing program at Wayland can vent, talk, ask and share ideas and questions. Maybe it can make life easier and less stressful. So share and ask so we can help each other get through school and life somewhat stress-free!!

Or maybe someone has questions about the school and programs. I was originally going to transfer to UTHSCSA from ACCD but this program has less applicants and closer to home. If I would have known about this school sooner I would have not taken classes I took for UTHSCSA that I didn't need for WBU.

I applied for the winter class. I just sent my.transcripts over, so I hope all.goes well. Did both of you already take your TEAS V prior to being accepted

Yes, teas scores are due by the deadline date of every application pool :)

Thanks. I was just reading the website but I can not find minimum % allowances for TEAS scores?

Yes you gotta take it before the application deadline.

I don't think they have any minimum allowance. I took my teas with ppl who had taken it 3 times. All you need is proficient.

You doing the online BSN right?!

Yes, BSN. :) but not sure when as I'm short a few prerequisites per the new.rules. Going to.try to CLEP Nutrition here shortly.

The winter start date is for the online is that what your doing, the online? Because you have time if you want to do the generic BSN.

I'm doing the generic in school program. I thought about the online but its expensive. I haven't heard about it being hard to get in. I'm sure it's easier then other programs though both generic & online.
