Ladies what did you use to help you study for the vocabulary on the hesi? There were so many medical terms. I have to retake the test.

I used 2 books

McGraw-Hill's 3 Evolve Reach (HESI) A2 Practice Tests and HESI A2 Study Guide: HESI Exam Prep and Practice Test Questions

I don't remember there being a lot of medical terms when I took the test but I felt like these two books prepared me really well for the test.

I don't remember a ton of medical terms on the HESI but you can also use YouTube, it always helps me lol. I took my HESI in Aug. I sent in all my paperwork including my background check. Its been about 2 weeks since my background check was sent in. I got a copy back from the company, all good of course. Still waiting on an acceptance letter..the wait is a killer! I'm hoping to start in Jan! Good luck on the re-test!

That is so great! And exciting! I'm hoping to start in Jan or June once I pass this hesi. I biught so much study material to use. I want to make sure I pass this time. I will definitely use YouTube lol thank you. Did you have trouble with the metric conversion ?

I didn't notice any metric on my hesi..I'd have to brush up on all my math again..I studied hard just for the hesi and after I took it, I didn't touch any math haha. Try Khan academy..that really helped me. Its free and there are videos to explain the steps..for me, math is super boring. I also took notes on each type of example so I wouldn't have to go back to search a "how to" . I took my hesi last week in August..still waiting for a yes/no answer.

Ahhh you're so lucky you didn't have any metric on your exam. What kind of math problems did you have? Omg I'm the same way haha I'm not a big fan of math. Lol In pretty sure you'll get in! :) Okay I will definitely check that site out. Thank you!

Most of my math was fractions to decimals and percentages, ugh. I took my test in Raleigh. I was told no two test was the same given the same day. The computers are designed to mix up every persons test for cheating purposes. So its possible to get no metric questions next time! But to cover all basis, refresh on everything! Xo

I took mine in Raleigh too! :) Do you live in Raleigh? I hope next time I dont get any , but like you said I still need to study everything just to be safe. How many times a day did you study? For how long? The nsth part took me the longest and I was running out of time so I had to rush through the other sections. Ugh

I live in Wake Forest. I studied every day for about a month and mostly when my kids were in school. Be sure to take breaks, my brain needer it lol
