  2. I live in Raleigh. Maybe we'll be at Watts together. :) ill probably start in June since it might be too late to go in Jan. I am taking it Dec 7th.
  3. Thank you! Lol I am definitely going to check out YouTube. I'm retaking the exam next month so I'm going to binge on a studying and hopefully it won't be harder the second time around. I hope you get in! Keep me posted. :) Thank you!
  4. Omg!!! This is so exciting! Congrats!! Yay! :) So happy for you!
  5. I took mine in Raleigh too! :) Do you live in Raleigh? I hope next time I dont get any , but like you said I still need to study everything just to be safe. How many times a day did you study? For how long? The nsth part took me the longest and I was running out of time so I had to rush through the other sections. Ugh
  6. Ahhh you're so lucky you didn't have any metric on your exam. What kind of math problems did you have? Omg I'm the same way haha I'm not a big fan of math. Lol In pretty sure you'll get in! :) Okay I will definitely check that site out. Thank you!
  7. That is so great! And exciting! I'm hoping to start in Jan or June once I pass this hesi. I biught so much study material to use. I want to make sure I pass this time. I will definitely use YouTube lol thank you. Did you have trouble with the metric conversion ?
  8. Ladies what did you use to help you study for the vocabulary on the hesi? There were so many medical terms. I have to retake the test.
  9. That's so awesome! What all do you do? Do you love it? Is a Tech same as CNA? How many days you work? Days? Night shift? Sorry so many questions.
  10. Oh okay. Good luck! :) when are you taking it?
  11. That's super exciting! I wish you luck! í ½í¸Š
  12. Oh good! I'm glad they are well. What is pax?
  13. Oh no! I'm sorry. How are your babies doing? I hope well. Aww that's so great Brandi2007. :) Same here, I want to be in NICU. At first I wanted to do pediatrics, but I really wanted to work with the newborns. I've also thought about L&D too. Yeah I'm still taking my prerequisites. I'm hoping to get into nursing school either in January or June. I have to retake my hesi since I failed the first time. It sucks but it made me a lot more determine and I'm going to make sure I study a lot more before I retake it since I only have one more shot. Once I pass, it'll give me a greater chance at getting accepted. Are you almost finished with your prerequisites?
  14. Thank you guys for your responses.!! I had started my first day of volunteer last night AND it was so wonderful! It motivated me to become a Nurse so much more. I volunteer every Friday during the late night shift and I love it so far. I mean what's not to like about babies right? Haha It just makes me feel good knowing I am helping a baby. The nurses are very sweet and welcomed me with opened arms. @Brandi2007. You are going to love being in the NICU. Are you in nursing school already? @itsthatgirljen. I would love to be able to help bathe, feed, and change diapers. That's so awesome that they allow you to do thst, hopefully I would be able too soon. :) Are you in nursing school? I know your loving it! @Meanmaryjean, DNP, RN. Thank you! Hopefully the hospital I volunteer at, allows cnas.
  15. I start my volunteer soon in the NICU and wanted to know if anyone is or had been a CNA in the NICU unit before? Thank you!
