Watts School of Nursing June

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Clearly lots going on last night while I watched Dogs vs. Cats: Revenge of Kitty Galore with the family. Loved the Hannibal Lecter/Silence of the Lambs reference! Otherwise, eh.

Heading over to Borders to see what's left, then velcroing my butt to my chair and knocking out Sociopath's paper and hopefully Thursdays article summary. I want to have EVERYTHING done by next weekend, both classes.

DH and kids heading to Florida on Friday and I will be ALONE, ALONE in my OWN house!!!! I don't think that has ever happened since kids started arriving... I can sleep when I want, eat when AND what I want, make messes and clean them up when I want, throw away what I want, rearrange furniture the way I want, have complete control over the remote control, sob my eyes out over sappy movies w/o being laughed at -- you get the idea -- for one WHOLE week!!! Wooohooo!!!

Anyway, off to Borders to see what's there (yes, it IS a stalling technique).

Keyna....sorry it took so long to get back to you... I had to work last night...ugh!! The website she got the article from is the cochran library. They use it at the hospital all the time. It's a great article. I'm finally done with all my article review papers for psych, just have to do my final paper and all that ridiculous reading!!!

Gcrunner.... when you said you were in your soffees....did you mean soffe's...as in shorts??? My boss will get a kick out of that....that's his family (Dad) company. I always tell him that I can never buy a pair of those shorts b/c he's already all over my ass all the time at work. hahahahaha!!

Red, yes those are the shorts I'm talking about! I've had a gray and black pair since high school that I refuse to get rid of... they are so dang comfortable! I live in them at home in warmer months. I would say I keep your boss in business but I've had the same ones for 10 years so....

TIB- I'm nervous to order that book since they changed the psych 101 book right before class started. I just don't want to waste the money. I'm going to e-mail Dr. C and see what she recommends.

Lynne- SO jealous of your week long sanity break!!!! I'd be doing exactly what you are planning on :D We will be going to the beach the week before A & P starts and I can hardly contain my joy!!!

OMG...Do you all realize that for the final week of psy we have an article summary, final project, final paper and 170 pages of reading??!!!!!

I have got to get going on the final paper.

I'm hoping to get the last 2 articles finished this weekend so I can focus on the paper and brochure... and as for the reading, I think I'll try the jeepinjed method and read the end of chapter reviews :p

As for tonight, math is done and the house is sort of clean so it's going to be japanese take out and a movie!

Do you guys think we can use our textbook as a peer reviewed reference in our final paper for psy??
