Watts School of Nursing June

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Don't forget to fill out the end of class evaluation. I also placed a call to voice

some faculty concerns with MOC, but had to leave a message. Dr. C is no longer

there as the Watts contact.

I don't think I will pursue my BSN with MOC. They just stink!! They don't care about their students at all! :nono:

It was good, Tar the typical jokester, getting us all into trouble and Jeep, yuck, he wasn't kidding that people stay away from him when he eats sauerkraut!! Yuck!

You don't crack the book open at all and you won't need to take notes, you also don't take a break! It was a lot of hands on and conversational (in which the lady proved to confuse us repeatedly)!! She was good, but could really use a refresher course herself.

Good luck tomorrow! Hopefully you have a fun group!

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe tomorrow she will be better now that she practiced with all of you!! lol Glad I didn't have to be around Jeep tonight!!

For me, it's just a refresher course with a couple of minor changes. don't need the book, but having study withdrawals, so reading it anyway. Did everyone pass??

So, I was standing in the middle of my kitchen yesterday. Just standing there. Then I realized, WOW! I have nothing to do!!! I don't have to do a darn thing! I felt lost. I didn't know what to do with myself. I don't like this unstressed out feeling. It's not normal. What am I going to do???? I'm starting to panic!!!!! :idea: Ahhh! I'll go shopping! Uhhhh, there is nothing I need!!! Oh my gosh!!!! HEEELLLPPPPP!!!!!!!:bugeyes:

Hey, Tar could take offense to that last comment about Tar....

Tar thinks that he was well behaved and did what he could to help move the class along.

If Tar was his "usual" jokester....we probably wouldn't have been outta there until at least 10.

Last night was on the "Reserved" end of Tar's personality.

By the way...class was fun, yes the teach needs a review herself and no, you don't need a book.

Rum, study the BLS book - you might need it. The teacher may need a prompt

or two from the students. (JK)

I think we broke her in though. She said she taught at

Watts for 30 years and just recently retired. She said listen and adapt to your teachers...some will enjoy our cohort and some will not. And that nursing school was

the hardest thing she's ever done in her life....yeah, thanks for the reminder.

How long did it take for financial aid to post your $$ from loans?

She told me it could take up to 5 to 7 business days and it's been 5, I'm getting a little frustrated because they've messed up my paperwork so much!!

I didn't sell back anything....I just put those little devilish items in a box, attached my pre-paid sticker to the front and mailed them back,....Renting is the best, but only for pre-req's. I'm buyng everything else.

Oh, Jenni....They posted your monies to my account...I was going to thank you for that and name my new car after you.
