Watts School of Nursing June

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

ok, I thought I was missing something. I had a hard day today. Went to the dr. (nephrologist) with my hubby and he ended up having to have IV fluids because his bp is too low. He has to skip some meds tonigt and I have to start monitoring his bp daily and report back to her on fri. Guess I'm starting clinicals now!! lol

I purchased the Peterson's Master Nursing school and allied Health Entrance Exam book. so r the words used in that book similar??

Ok, I just have to tell you that I didn't study anything for the test, so maybe some of my classmates might have looked at that particular book. I didn't have time to go get anything by the time I took my test.

I agree with Tar. If you have been studying the book they suggest, I think that helps a lot. I skipped over any math question that took more than a few seconds. Do the easy ones first; same with the word and spatial object questions. The reading: I read the

questions first and then the paragraphs and tried to skim for the answers. Just go fast and answer what you can. Oh, and remember to breathe :D

I used the Peterson's nursing school and allied health book. I can't remember what

the words were like on the test, but I think the book definitely helped.

Well thank you all for all your advise...I am goin to relax and jus go Tuesday and take the test... I think my biggest test right now I would say is my nerves..IfI dnt freak out I think I will do perfectly fine!!

What time is your test on tues??? We all come in around 4:30 for our study group, but something tells me that you'll be long gone by then.

I studied from that book as well. The math is different - on the test it's all word problems. The words are similar. Like most have said go quickly, but answer correctly. I skipped a lot of the math because it would've taken me too long, but the ones I answered I knew for sure. So, if you choose to answer something, make sure it's right. It's not about finishing the test, moreso answering the most you can correctly. As for the reading comp I only got through the first 2 (I think).

Good luck, breathe!! You will be fine! And, once you pass and get accepted, DO NOT under any circumstance take any sociology classes!!! :)
