I completed all my rereqs at another school. I was just told by Mt. Olive that all the prereqs did transfer. I know I have to still take 18 credit hours at Mt. Olive. I was hoping to take some of the RN to BSN courses but Mt. Olive just told me I could not. There are really no courses offered this summer and fall at Mt. Olive that will benefit a nursing career.
Did anyone else have this problem?

I think I remember people in the past saying this was an unintended consequence for them as well. They ended up taking like Art Appreciation, etc. I really dislike that taking the BSN classes isn't an option, but on their end I guess I understand the reasoning, as students haven't even entered the clinical portion yet to make the courses relevant to their study.
After looking at the potential course list I wish there was a lot more variety, like more psychology classes or something. I'm really not looking forward to potentially having to take a music or art appreciation class LOL. Just because I like to listen and look at it, doesn't mean I want to go in-depth about it!

take some statistics. you are going to need them later. Take Spanish-become fluent in it if you can. Not sure if that helps, but those are classes that I had to take later.
How many hours are you required to take? I still don't understand that whole process. I had to take a min of 31 hours at UNCW to get my BSN, but that was having my ADN and a BS in another field.
