It is not an ADN program, there is no degree awarded. You get a diploma and you get to take the NCLEX and become an RN. My only experience with them is when students come to my unit to do clinical.

They were great. I like having students around :) They are so eager, it makes you remember why you wanted to be a nurse. I am precepting a student nurse from Durham Tech right now. We have students from like 3 schools right now It's nice.
I am currently taking my pre-reqs and am due to start the nursing courses in August! If you have any questions about the application process I'll answer as best as I can.
I'm currently in my 2nd semester, starting my 3rd semester of the nursing program in August. Pre-reqs are a piece of cake compared to the nursing program. Watts is a tough curriculum, definitely but very worth it.
Wow! I just took the entrance exam this AM. 80% on math and 90% on the others, guess I will be submitting an application after all! How many hours a night do you spend studying generally once in the nursing classes?
Trying to start thinking ahead for time management and my work schedule.

I am elated to be in the application process for this school.
I wanted to ask others about their experience with Watts!
How are the graduates viewed in the workforce?
Do you feel the overall experience and quality of teaching is worth the extra money? (as opposed to community colleges)
How was the workload? (Of course challenging, but perhaps how many hours a night did you study)?
I am hoping to go into geriatrics and continue onto get my BSN and hopefully MSN. Can't wait to hear of other peoples experiences with this school!
