Was this a waste?

Hi everybody,

Ive never written on a forum until today. But after seeing how many people read these forums I thought Id give it a try. I went to one of the most expensive nursing schools in the country and graduated with great grades. Studied my butt of for the Nclex and failed miserably twice. However, I feel like i know a whole lot... ive done kaplan , ive done every question on the 3rd edition saunders cd! Will suzannes plan still work for me on the 4th edition or will i get repeat questions? I know nothing comes easy and i have put in the work--- but never in my life have i studied for 40 days straight from 8-5 and not passed an exam...all advice would be appreciated....thanks...

Try it. It's worked for a lot of others.

:)

Suzanne's Plan. Take a short break to refresh your mind. Enjoy the holidays and don't even think about the exam or studying. :reef:Hang in there, you will pass.

I think you should try it despite you doing the 3rd edition from Saunders. The 4th edition which Suzanne requires has a quiz at the end of each chapter while the 3rd edition doesnt. I did her plan and passed. I did kaplan and all those other stuff and failed. I think you should really consider it. As for now if you just took your test, listen to what the others are saying and just relax for a bit, take a break then get back to studying after a week or so. Goodluck

Don't give up. I can speak from experience. I attended an accelerated program and have advanced degrees but can't get through the NCLEX. We can not allow this test to keep us from becoming RNs. We will persevere!

Relax over the holidays and tackle this again with the new year. I also suggest that you use Suzanne's plan. Many have passed using it. It can't hurt. Just don't give up and remember, as long as you keep trying there will come a time when you will pass the exam. It is like that pure and simple. The only way you will lose out is if you stop trying and don't take the exam one more time. Good luck.
