Was Covid-19 Here Already?

Published

Have any of you seen cases of suspected CV-19 before this current outbreak? I personally suspect that it went through my family earlier this year, and whenever I share this with others they too have had or known someone who had a "mysterious viral illness" between November and now. A family member of mine had every symptom of CV in early February so we assumed this person had the flu (they tested negative).

Agreed, still haven’t decided yet

I can swear our family caught it in January. I had a cough that last roughly 5 weeks, I’m suprised I didn’t break any ribs from all the coughing fits.

Not sure about you guys, but who seriously believes China’s numbers? They are more concerned about saving face than giving out the real data. Anything data I read from them, I multiply by 10. Come on, just look at the timely death of their whistleblower. This stuff has been going around for a long time, we just haven’t been testing for it until the horrible cases in Kirkland (WA) popped up. This stuff has been flying around since late December.

Anyone else noticed the serious measures taken in Asia to control this virus? They disinfected the streets, cars, sprayed people and their belongings down with some un-identified solution. I'm curious as to if we are really being told about the viability of this virus. Granted, most of us will survive it, but their approach is so much more aggressive than here in the US. ... simple face masks *just* started to be recommended this week for the general public.

Makes one wonder.

I can’t wait to hear about the long term effects of this thing, if they tell us.

oh, and in regards to fevers. I’m seeing a lot of low grade temps. 99-101 for a few hours/days and then stops. Anyone else seeing this in the young and (seemingly) healthy?
