I think if you want something bad enough, anything is possible. Like yourself, I was not a serious student years ago. Before I started nursing prerequisite classes (and a few lower division GE classes), my overall GPA was below 3.0. I never liked science (biology or chemistry) so I was not expecting to get all A's in nursing prerequisite classes. But I knew I wanted a BSN and understood what I had to do in order to accomplish my goal. So I planned out a "roadmap" for each semester & simply followed the plan, one step at a time. After about 4 semesters & 40+ units of classes, my GPA increased to about 3.8 & I'm about to begin BSN program at a CSU.

First, I would begin with remedial English classes and writing. From reading your post, it looks like English might be your second language. I am not trying to offend. I was in anatomy and physiology classes with a very bright student from Ethiopia and she struggled with the language on all the exams. She completely understood the material but could not comprehend the questions. If you have not taken any biology classes, take a cell biology class.

Take advantage of any free tutoring your college has to offer. A community college would be the best place to get the extra support that you need.

Also, you may want to retake a class to get a better grade to raise your GPA. At my school, they only count nursing prereq's into your GPA. Do you know if your school does that?

Thanks for everyone responses.. You guys gave me hope. FYI Jroregon.. I'm taking Eng 102 this summer and English may be my best subject in college... I always do good on my papers. I'm just struggling with sciences because I'm not a science person. I love math but it is challenging at time, but I really want this so I'm going to try hard to suceed
