I have been working home health agency two months now as a case manager. This is my first experience as a case manager job. We will have survey early next year soon. But the thing is we have a lot of paperworks on my plate. Documentations and nursing notes to review were pileup since previous case managers quit and fired...
yeah maybe it could be done if i work 7 days or if im not doing recert/soc/roc...
i really worry about license and survey..
any ideas??

Do the best you can and don't worry about what you can not accomplish. If you want to work 7 days a week, ask the employer if they will pay you appropriately, otherwise just do the best you can. It goes without saying if you can't stand this place, then look for another job and quit when that job appears. Good luck.

2 mos in is premature for most to manage all of the responsibilities of a case mgr. You should still be doing relief. And it takes minimal 6 mos to be remotely comfortable. I returned to HH after 10 yrs as a SAHM and had to learn OASIS et al and I was crying every night after getting home late for the first 6 mos. it was TOTALLY worth it. (I do work for a very legit human friendly company)

You might ask your manager for overtime to just focus on the incomplete paperwork. Then it will be out of your hair.
Your license is NOT in jeopardy because of incomplete charting someone else is responsible for. The HH agency would be responsible, not you personally. Unless if affects your current work, cleaning up charts for the agency is a very angelic thing for you to do :) it is a favor you are doing for them. We can't 'chart' for another nurse even if she quit, that is called falsifying documentation.
I have question since i have been working there now 2months lots of plan of care and paper works signed by name. If surveyor find out my mistake or something.
Is this gonna be huge trouble for me??
I'm so busy with paperwork so sometimes i cannot remember what i did... too much workload

I have no experience in the home Heath field, never considered it an option. That being said; I would not complete any charting on another nurse's work that I did not observe. That seems to be falsifying medical records to me which seems to be a liability for you and your company. I would actively search for a new job in another company. Good luck!
