As mentioned above, travel nursing is not a specialty; you need to have at least one year of experience as an RN, most hospitals now are wishing for two years. And in the world of NICU and the delivery suite have seen some want minimum of five years of experience.
You pick an area to work in because you are the most interested in, that will also keep you the happiest.
Best of luck on your training.

Hello travel nurses, I am currently pre-nursing student. Hoping to get ASN-RN. And I am just curious to know how and when should I begin the activity for Travel Nursing program. I know I am way behind to go for Travel Nursing program but this job seems pretty interesting and enjoyable to me. I am not native English speaker but I m trying my best to communicate in English with everyone around me. So, could anyone please be kind to give me more information about this program?
I would greatly appreciate to all ur help...
Thanks!
