Want to know about Excelsior Online ADN

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I am working as a programmer now. I have completed all the pre couses for Nursing with mostly A grade. Now I have to wait until next year 2004 fall to apply. An admission is not sure either. So I was thinking of some online programs and I heard about Excelsior's ADN . I am not sure how it works but heard that it is a licensed program. Does that mean, I can take the RN exam after completion at any state? I would like to hear more, the merits and demerits of this program. Thank you

Clearly, the major disadvantage of Excelsior is that it does not provide any clinical experience. Other traditional learning based programs provide 300-700 clinical hours.

Best of luck
