I want to go back to school to get my masters in pediatric nurse practioner but my gpa isn't at a 3.0, its at a 2.85. I know I need atleast a 3.0 to get looked at. Anyone know if there are any programs that allow you to take classes at a community college or a local university to help increase your GPA? By the way, my pre nursing GPA was a 3.4, but PVAMU nursing school shot my gpa, wish I never went to Prairie View A&M College of Nursing.

Some schools may offer provisional enrollment with a GPA lower than 3.0, but you are usually required to have a high GRE score for that. You could call the programs you are interested in and ask, then take a GRE prep course and ace the GRE and still have a good shot at getting in.

You can always retake classes to get better grades. Obviously, you can't really retake your core nursing classes, but you can always just get into a community college and retake any basics you might've messed up on. Retake anything you took in nursing school that wasn't an A that isn't an actual nursing class.
Honestly, I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner, but for all the school, I figured I might as well become a doctor. It's not too much of a step up. But if that's what you want to do, good luck.
