well aware of google & can ask recruiter as well, just thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks for stating the obvious. Google could answer a lot of questions posted on this & other forums but sometimes it's nice to interact with others, no?
I can tell from the tone of your post you were offended by my comment. But, I am stating the obvious...Most of the resources you will gather from this type of question will be googled information. So, why waste time gathering public information from commenters? It's always nice to interact with individuals, and I am more than willing to assist if this had been a question that I thought could benefit from inside sources, rather than a general broad question.
No harm intended..
To add to that list of non compact walk though states are DC, M0, SC, VT. HI, IN, MD, SD are correct. RI is now compact and is no longer walk through for anyone else. CA is semi walk though if you visit CA in person and do the live scan several days before. If the stars are all aligned, you can then walk through on a single visit to the board. More details on that process, and the process in every state can be found on the board list on PanTravelers.

I live in a compact state & am thinking of doing a travel assignment in the fall. Which non-compact states have walk thru for license?
