I would like to find out more information about the MSN education track from either university.Any help would be appreciated.
I am working on my MSN in education at Walden since Jan 2011. I love the program. The enrollment advisor helped me so much, it was like we became bestfriends. To inform you can research Walden University on Allnurses and there is so much information to help you decide what is best for you. I am glad I am attending Walden. The professors are so helpful. Please research it, I did and it helped. Good luch with your decision.
I have researched a lot of programs and after much hesitation I have chosen Walden. I start in Oct. The only thing I dont understand is that they are making me take statistics....others schools do not require that. I am nervous about taking statistics....must get a "b" to continue in the Masters program

I had to take Stats with Walden also. THe stats class I took with them was not difficult. I am by no means "good" with math. The prof took us through it step-by-step. My prof knew I was not going to be a math wiz-she knew we were taking it as nurses, and it was required. She made it as user-friendly as possible. We got to use excel which actually calculates the stats for you. I actually wound up enjoying the class! I made an A! So hang in there, and I bet you will do fine!
I began the MSN-Education track at Walden Sept 2010. Like you, I recall panicking when I found out I had to take a statistics class. It was a lot of work, but I completed the course with an A. It is nursing statistics which made it even more existing. Due to future group projects that you will have to take, I advise that you keep your statistics text book within reach, I have used my book a number of times for reference. Best wishes!!
