Anyone applying for the 2019 class? Or have any interview tips/application suggestions? Most of my coworkers from the PICU who are currently in CRNA school were rejected almost immediately after applying to wake forest which I find concerning for myself but i'm applying nonetheless :)
Hey All,
I'm super late to the board, but have applied for fall interviews as well. I've seen several posts asking about stats so I'll throw mine up:
3.29 Overall GPA (4.0 in BSN); Organic and Bio Chem this spring
315 GRE
Nursing for 7.5 yrs; Cardiac ICU for 6+
I'm currently in Kansas City; working for KU 700+ bed tertiary academic center
I attended their H3A course offering this spring and it seems like a wonderful program. I got the vibe that they only take a specific number of nurses from each "specialty" i.e. Medicine, Surgical, Cardiac, etc. in an effort to maintain a blended cohort. I have been checking my email routinely, is that how the spring interview group was notified of the interviews? What are everyone's specialties who have applied this year? I wish everyone the best of luck and hope to hear something this next week.
Got an email today for an interview. Email says to click the link and choose a date, but the only date listed was Oct 22, so that's when I am going.
I attended the H3A earlier this week and left with a great impression of the program. No idea if they are still letting people know or how many dates there are, number of people being interviewed, or even how many spots are up for grabs after they made spring offers.
One thing to note. When I log back in to the application on their webpage, it now says "interview requested" whereas previously it said "ready for review." I am guessing if yours still says "ready for review" there is still a chance of getting asked to interview.
