Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

I am technically done as well, the only thing is my insurance! i signed up for one but don't have a policy number as of now since it starts on 1/1/17 but BS said that should be fine as long as they see that I purchased one. R u going to the review on 11/28?

Congrats to everyone!! I have a question. I just dropped my bio 169. I have some family issues that need to be priority. Anyway, my plan was to apply in Jan. If I can retake the teas and get 12 points I will have 152 points. Do you think it's a waste of time to apply and see what happens? Thanks for your advice

Hey! I'm so sorry to hear that you ended up having to drop that class. I remember how difficult that time was for you. I'm going to be honest...I think it would be a waste of time. If I were you, I would retake bio 169 during Spring 2017 and reapply in July for Spring 2018 entry. Your chances of getting more points would be higher that way. Right now, 152 would put you right on the alternates list. I know that you want to apply in January but, sometimes things happen for a reason. Take care of your family (priority), retake bio 169 in the Spring, and retake teas (possible more points). I hope this helps and I wish you the best!

No, I'm not attending. I live almost an hour away and I just can't see myself driving an hour for an hour review session. I can do that at home and save my little gas...LOL!! Are you going?

Laila34 yeah I'm going because it may be helpful ( i didn't buy the book so i need all the help i can get, i will let you know how it goes). Hopefully by then we have an answer lol.

Gotgifts3 i'm sorry you had to drop the class, i know its hard when things don't go your way but maybe the timing wasn't right. I agree with Laila maybe wait until next July to reapply. i was at 159 this semester and was alternate #28 so who knows what fall may look like :) don't give up and if you do end up applying the best of luck girl

Hey! I haven't heard a thing uugghhhh!!! I keep looking at webadvisor and there are at least 39 seats available. I'm nervous also bc December is next week and before we know it...it's the holiday break which is from Dec20-Jan2..? I don't think they call us during that time. I doubt it though. School starts Jan5 and the last day to add is Jan11. I'm going to continue to think positive although, that can be tough at times. Waiting is for the birds...LOL!!!!

OMG they need to get it together and call us already lol i swear I'm to the point were i need to put in notice at work and get another part time job set up but i cant -_- I swear Im gonna be doing a lot of stress drinking this weekend hahaha HAPPY THANKSGIVING GUYS

Hey Pdlf, CNA! Did you attend the math review?? How was it?? Any new info? Updates? I haven't heard a thing but have noticed that there are 31 seats still available. It seems like the line hasn't moved since Nov4.
