Hi! I have an interview for the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center's Journeys nurse residency. I was wondering if anyone who has done the program could tell me if they had a good experience. Also, whether people like working there in general. I am from out of state so I do not know the reputation of the hospital. Thank you.

I work at the other large hospital. I have heard fantastic things about Baptist. They tend to pay a little less than their competition *cough* but your experiences will be invaluable. Most of the people I know who work at Baptist love it. Good luck!

I just applied to Wake Forest's Journeys program...how are you liking it? is it what you think it is...are people friendly and welcoming? how much do they start new grads off? did you have to sign a 2 year contract? I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions...but i have an interview coming up...im so nervous! maybe we can be colleagues! haha! :)

I was looking into this program also. Did you accept an offer with them? I wouldn't mind taking a slight pay cut if it meant I would be thoroughly prepared to work as an RN. Getting a good experience is very important to me.
