Hi all,
I know these are my nerves and impatience speaking but talking about it with others does seem to help. I have been waiting for my decision letter from the NMC since the 25th of May, when I first entered the queue.
I re-entered it on the 16th of July (last week) after some feedback and re-submission of documents. I know they say it takes another 60 days but I have been reassured by plenty of people it should only be 2 weeks. By the end of this week, those 2 weeks would have been reached.
Is anyone else going through this? The longer I wait, the more this seems like it will never happen and I won't be getting to The UK. Trying to keep my spirits up!
Then there's the fear my assessor will find something in those resubmitted papers to pick at and instead of a DL, I'll be looking at more negative feedback >_
Wishing the best for all of us~ Tell me what you have to go through with the NMC.

Hi there! You need not worry as some have had it longer. I believe it is a matter of time for you now. I know you will get that DL soon! As for me,I still have that long stretch of waiting to do because I just submitted my documents this month. My question, though, is how do I know if my application has been placed on queue? Do I need to ring the NMC if they have indeed received my documents? Thank You!
Hi Klara~ I received my DL last week and now just waiting for CoS and visa application so thank you!
So to know if you are in queue, when you open your application, for one, it should be 'READ ONLY' since you would have submitted the online part. Secondly, a list of the documents you have sent will be listed above. If they have received them all, the date they put there (the date they are scanned through) is day 1 of you being in queue. No harm however in calling and double checking they have everything and you are indeed in queue. I've heard some people who had no idea they weren't in queue and the NMC were either waiting for more paperwork or actually lost some of it during the transfer. So I'd suggest giving them a call (: Best of luck!

Hi SnowNursee! Praise God I have finally seen that my documents have been uploaded and that I am officially on queue on the 27th of July. It is now the waiting game for me. How about you? Have you received that Decision Letter yet?
Best Regards,
Klara

Awesome, Klara~ It won't be long from here now, I assure you. It's painful, waiting for it but even if they give feedback to provide more docs or to fix something, they do try to stay within the 60 day mark. Good luck~
Yep, I received my DL last week on the 24th of July. I am just waiting for my visa application now and I should be arriving in the UK on the 7th of September (:

Awww! I'm so happy for you! I am excited. So excited to go back! Been there in 2009 to 2013. Had to go back to the Philippines because I didn't have any hospital experience. At first I didn't have any intentions of going again to the UK but when you are a nurse, you will always find your way back to doing what you love to do. I hope we'll meet in the UK one day! I'll update you with whatever progress I have in relation to my application!
Cheers!
