2018 waiting for NMC decision letter

Published

Hi all,

I know these are my nerves and impatience speaking but talking about it with others does seem to help. I have been waiting for my decision letter from the NMC since the 25th of May, when I first entered the queue.

I re-entered it on the 16th of July (last week) after some feedback and re-submission of documents. I know they say it takes another 60 days but I have been reassured by plenty of people it should only be 2 weeks. By the end of this week, those 2 weeks would have been reached.

Is anyone else going through this? The longer I wait, the more this seems like it will never happen and I won't be getting to The UK. Trying to keep my spirits up!

Then there's the fear my assessor will find something in those resubmitted papers to pick at and instead of a DL, I'll be looking at more negative feedback >_

Wishing the best for all of us~ Tell me what you have to go through with the NMC.

That is awesome! Are you Australian or Filipino?

Hehe funnily enough, I am Filipina. Just grew up and studied here in Australia. (:

Wow! Do you know how to speak Tagalog or Bisaya?

Tagalog~ It's not my mother tongue though so I'm not completely fluent with it sadly xD

When is your estimated month or date of arrival in The UK? Do you have family there?

As to my own analysis and granting everything turns out fine with my application with no requested additional documents, I should be in UK around October or November, God willing!! Have you started your visa filing yet?

Even if they ask for additional documents, it should only delay you a couple weeks~ So no worries ^_^

And yes, somewhat. The person who is meant to grant me my CoS is on leave but will be back on the 13th. Then my agent will submit my visa application that week and through priority service as well so I should get it in a week. Then have my flight ready to arrive in London on the 7th of September. Hopefully~

That's pretty awesome! It's basically just relaxing and enjoying your time now. I hope I get the NMC feedback by the last week of August so I won't have to wait for a month to issue my CoS. They say CoS issuance is every 5th of the month. I'm not sure if it's still true today. Best of the best for you. BTW, do you have any FB account? Is it okay to add you up?

Well not really haha. Studying for the OSCEs and packing for me. Hopefully the visa application goes smoothly. I did hear about CoS issuing being every 5th of the month but I'm not sure. I think it also depends on the trust. Like with mine on leave, and coming back on the 13th, he'll be giving it then.

And yes, I do have facebook and you can add me. (: Let me know what to search for and I'll send a friend request.

Hi. Were you recruited by HCL directly? I am with HCL permanent as well, with the same hospital. How was it?
