i sure wish i could pass this damn test, i mean really how many times do i have to take it before i can pass, i just dont get it. i have taken several reviews, and still cant pass, some days i just wish i could die. I have one more try before my 3 yr period, if i dont pass this time, i dont think i will do it again, and not sure what i will do, other than go to sleep forever... it is too stressful, and painfull .. i hate being so stupid.
i took mine jan 7..got my results after 48 hours..did you get your quick results yet? waht state did you take yours? i felt horrible after my exam thinking i failed...i drove home in the snow, and it sucked..lol and then i did the PVT trick and i kinda had some hope :) then found out i passed..lol..
Awesome! Congrats! I'm in California so I don't get the luxury of quick results! I called my school today and they are not sending our transcripts tto the board until tomorrow! So I prob won't find out until next week! It is killing me!! Do you know of anyone who took it in 2011 that got the credit card page?
The only thing I can recommend is Kaplan. I took mine test 01.13.2011 and I am still waiting for results ( 48 business hours ). The computer shut off at around 76 questions and I am hope I passed. The last question before it shut I answered correctly ( 100% positive ). I am from Europe and English is my second language. I took the test for the first time.
Kaplan has a diagnostic test online. If you do it under 60% it means you should review. If above you just need to work on strategies and questions. I was doing questions everyday ( at least 100 questions a day ) for 1 month and some before. I know Kaplan isn't cheap but to pay several times for test is even more expensive. I paid around 450$. I do not try to make advertisement Kaplan, but it is what helped me. Good luck to you :)

I graduated the nursing program 12/14/10. I was an average B-C type of student that tried hard to study but nursing school was pretty difficult for me. I decided to take the Kaplan course since the hospital I am working at paid for it. I have been working in the hospital for 3 years as a nursing assistant and a year of externship in the ICU. I started Kaplan starting 12/27/10 and EVERYDAY after that I did the diagnostic, readiness and question trainers until the day of my NCLEX 1/8/11. I only did the questions, did not read the book or anything and it was all I used to study. My Kaplan results were:
Diagnostic test-63
QT1-57
QT2-69
QT3-59
QT4-62
QT5-59
QT6-65
QT7-63
Readiness test-69
I did 1 Qbank test with a 62%
ATI (180 question) all med/surg- 71% which said 97-98% chance of passing the first time
I have never really had test anxiety before, but for the NCLEX I have NEVER felt like that before. My heart was racing for four or five days before the test. Then during the test it was uncontrollable. I sat down and took the questions one by one. I thought I was doing pretty well since I got about 13 SATA questions and 1 math. Then question 75 was there and when I pressed the next button, my heart sank when it went to 76. I think I lost consciousness about then. I got to 85 and the screen turned blue. I was so excited when that happened and then a screen came up that said I could take a break. WHAT!? My heart sank again! I took a small break and went back at it. It turned blue again at 90 something.
I went straight home and tried the Pearson Vue trick. It was 10:30ish and a pop up came up that said something about open registration or something. Panic set in. My friend forced me to get in the car and drink a margarita. I tried again at 2:00 and the good pop up came up! :heartbeat I reeeeeeeeeeally hope it is true. I called my school and they are not sending the transcripts up until tomorrow so I prob won't find out until like Friday I am thinking. I am soooooooo nervous! Do you guys think they could have fixed this glitch in their system January 1? I sure hope not! HELP!
