Hi,
I have a friend is looking to relocate from Detroit to Nevada for a nursing school. However she done very well on her prereqs but there are very few schools in Detroit and its very hard to get accepted.
Is there a nursing schools in Nevada that dosen't have a waiting list, or its not that difficult to get accepted.
thanks

Where in NV is she moving to?
In Reno, UNR's admissions are GPA based - there's no waiting list - they admit 48 in the spring and 48 in the fall.

As far as I know CSN, UNLV, NSC, Touro, and USN all do not have wait lists. CSN, UNLV, NSC go by a point system (entrance test scores, gpa and such). Touro and USN go by a combo of things which can include gpa, test scores, and personal interview. I'm not sure about Apollo. I think I read somewhere that they wait list people. Oh, and all of these are in the Las Vegas, Clark County area.

Thank you both for your comments, I'll let her know that she have a chance in Nevada. I really appreciate your input. So far this is the 1st state she is considering I believe.
